This kit contains the following NEW, quality parts. Timing Chain and Sprocket Set - 3-pieces. GM used two different head designs in 2001. This kit is for 1st-design 2001 models that have 14.4mm OD valve guides. This only applies to 2001 models, and the valve stem seals is the only difference.

Before ordering, please determine if your 2001 model has 14.4mm or 22.8mm OD valve guides. We have included images of the gasket set, piston rings, oil pump, timing set, and pistons for your reference. Engine kit image is for illustrative purposes only.
